Thermite normally requires 4,566F of direct heat to ignite.
We at DBC Pyrotechnics have developed a new, safe, and easy to use igniter that replaces magnesium ribbons.
Just insert our igniter into the center of the pile of powdered thermite.
Ignite visco fuse and stand back.
This new igniter will burn for 3 seconds at 5,000F igniting the thermite.
Safe to store and water resistent.
